Director, Actuarial

Alistair Chamberlain joined Aviva Singapore as Actuarial Director in October 2008.  Prior to joining Aviva in Singapore, Alistair worked for 3 years for Aviva in London in a variety of actuarial and management roles and prior to that trained and worked as an actuary with a large multinational insurer based in the UK and mainland Europe.

Alistair is the Appointed Actuary for Aviva’s businesses in Singapore and Hong Kong.  Alistair is a Fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries (UK), the Singapore Actuarial Society and the Actuarial Society of Hong Kong.  In Singapore, Alistair sits on the Council of the actuarial society and is currently chair of the life insurance sub-committee. Alistair holds a degree in economics from the University of Edinburgh (UK) and a diploma in actuarial science from Heriot Watt University (UK).
