Executive Team - Mukesh Dhawan

General Manager

Mukesh Dhawan was appointed General Manager of Aviva Singapore in March 2010. He is responsible for strategic leadership of the Sales and Marketing functions of the company, driving business growth through the development of customer-centric solutions in line with market needs and building the Aviva brand.

Before joining Aviva, Mukesh was the Vice President and Head of Strategic Marketing for AIA Group in Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong. In his experience at AIA, he played a key role in repositioning the AIA brand and created a differentiated approach towards product marketing. He also managed Accident & Health Profit Centre in a regional capacity.

Mukesh has a strong background in sales, with more than 15 years of sales experience across the insurance and banking industry. Prior to AIA, Mukesh was part of the start up team of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance in India where he was Head of Sales Management, involved in developing the sales architecture for the company to maintain its market position in India.

Mukesh obtained his MBA (Marketing) from IMDR (Institute of Management Development and Research), Pune, India and has a Bachelor Degree in Commerce.
