Aviva opens the Aviva - NKF Life & Health Hub

Aviva opens the Aviva - NKF Life & Health Hub at the heart of Central Business District to provide health screening facilities.

Aviva is proud to announce the official opening of the Aviva - NKF Life & Health Hub on the 7 April 2005. The 10,000 sq ft hub, located at 137 Cecil Street, is the result of a multifaceted partnership between Aviva, the fifth largest insurer in the world and the biggest insurer in the UK, and the National Kidney Foundation (NFK), Singapore's largest non-profit organisation.

The Life and Health Hub is the NKF's third Prevention Centre, and the first of NKF's Centres to offer Cancer Screening Programmes, in partnership with the KK Women's and Children's Hospital. The hub, wholly sponsored by Aviva Singapore, is fully equipped to offer mammograms for breast cancer, faecal occult blood test for colon cancer, pap smear for cervical cancer and blood based tumour marker tests. These are in addition to the basic and secondary health screening services.

The official opening of the hub also sees the launch of WellSense, an innovative protection plan that rewards customers for staying healthy.

Wellsense is a revolutionary, active health management programme that provides tailored annual health screening for the customers. It also provide insurance protection against 30 critical illnesses and death, plus premium discount of up to 20% for staying healthy.
