Manulife Strengthens Partnership with Aviva

Manulife's customers can now manage their portfolios more efficiently with Navigator's investment platform

22 September 2009, Singapore – Manulife and Aviva, two leading providers of protection, savings, health and investment products, today expanded their partnership by customising Navigator's investment platform and providing full administration support to Manulife's unit trust business. Manulife customers can now manage their unit trust investment portfolios more efficiently and at a lower cost.

"Navigator provides online investment tracking and consolidated reporting, this means our customers can manage their portfolios with their Manulife financial planner more efficiently. Navigator also provides savings on CPF agent bank charges. By lowering the cost of investing and making it hassle free, this can help our customers further in achieving their investment objectives," said Mr. Darren Thomson, President & CEO of Manulife (Singapore) Pte Ltd. The investment platform's comprehensive service and support include consolidated statements, online transactions, and dedicated back-end support such as access to technical and market updates, tailored assistance, and call centre support.

Aviva's partnership with Manulife began in August 2007, when Manulife started offering its customers a selection of Aviva's group and medical insurance plans. The deepened partnership between the two insurers signals further confidence in the market recovery.
