Manulife's customers can now manage their portfolios more efficiently with Navigator's investment platform
22 September 2009, Singapore – Manulife and Aviva, two leading providers of protection, savings, health and investment products, today expanded their partnership by customising Navigator's investment platform and providing full administration support to Manulife's unit trust business. Manulife customers can now manage their unit trust investment portfolios more efficiently and at a lower cost.
"Navigator provides online investment tracking and consolidated reporting, this means our customers can manage their portfolios with their Manulife financial planner more efficiently. Navigator also provides savings on CPF agent bank charges. By lowering the cost of investing and making it hassle free, this can help our customers further in achieving their investment objectives," said Mr. Darren Thomson, President & CEO of Manulife (Singapore) Pte Ltd. "Navigator administration service is important in our unit trust platform that helps us in providing a one-stop financial solution to address our customers' needs," Darren continued.
"Aviva's enhanced partnership with Manulife is a huge endorsement of our offerings by an industry peer. This collaboration increases Navigator's market share in the non-bank unit trust space, and expands our distribution reach, as Aviva continues to strengthen our multi-channel distribution network to provide consumers the freedom to purchase our products from a diverse range of channels," said Mr. Simon Newman, managing director for Aviva Singapore.
Among the fastest growing investment platform in the market today, offering a range of more than 400 unit trust funds in Singapore, Navigator is Aviva's portfolio administration service, which brings together products and tools for customers to manage their diverse portfolio through a single access point.
