MyAviva Campaign T&Cs

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR MYAVIVA CUSTOMER TREATS CAMPAIGN (the “Campaign”) 

1.       The Campaign will be for the period 13 March 2020 to 31 May 2020, both dates inclusive.

2.       Only “Qualifying Customer” are eligible for the Campaign:

(a)    You must be the policyholder of Aviva;

(b)    You must have received a personalised customer communication from Aviva Ltd (“Aviva”) informing you of your eligibility for the Campaign and asking you to activate your MyAviva account to redeem:

         i.     FREE 3 Years Travel Insurance (the “Free Insurance”); and

         ii.    CapitaVoucher (the “Voucher”); and

(together the “Treats”);

(c)     The activation of your MyAviva account and redemption for the Campaign must be between 13 March 2020 to 31 May 2020 (both dates inclusive)

3.       The Treats are not transferable nor exchangeable for cash or any other item in part or in whole and is not replaceable, if expired, lost or stolen. Aviva reserves the right to replace any Treat with an item of similar or other value in its absolute discretion, at any time without prior notice.

4.       Aviva makes no representation or warranty whatsoever as to the quality or fitness for purpose or any other implied terms or conditions with respect to any Treat. Any dispute about any Treat must be resolved directly with the supplier of the Treat. Aviva is not liable for any injury, claim, loss or damage whatsoever arising in connection with any Treat.

5.       Each Qualifying Customer who successfully activates his/her MyAviva account is entitled to redeem items (i) and (ii) under paragraph 2(b) in one package.

6.        By participating in this Campaign,:

(a)  You are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any other instructions, terms and conditions that Aviva may issue from time to time. Aviva reserves the right to disqualify or disregard any Qualifying Customer who does not comply with these Terms and Conditions;

(b)  You consent under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act  (PDPA) to be contacted via telephone call, SMS, mail and email by Aviva, Aviva group of companies and/or their service providers and third party representatives for special marketing offers, promotions and information; and to the collection, use and disclosure of his/her personal data by Aviva, Aviva group of companies and/or their service providers and third party representatives for the above purposes;

(c)   You further consent under PDPA to the collection, use, disclosure and processing of your personal data by/to Aviva and such other third party, including the third parties administering the redemption, or any third parties that Aviva may, in its absolute discretion, consider appropriate or necessary in connection with the Campaign, for the following purposes:

         i      for the purposes of the Campaign;

         ii     To administer your participation in the Campaign with Aviva, and such other purposes, ancillary or related to the administration of the Campaign, including the processing of your personal data for underwriting purposes and/or claims purposes in relation to the Free Insurance coverage;

(d)    You confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by the terms of the Aviva Data Protection Policy, as may be amended, supplemented and/or substituted by Aviva from time to time, a copy of which can be found at www.aviva.com.sg/pdpa;

(e)    You consent under the PDPA to Aviva and Aviva group of companies transferring your personal data to Aviva related group of companies and/or the aforesaid third-parties, whether located in Singapore or elsewhere, for the above purposes.

7.       You confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by Aviva’s data protection policy, as may be amended, supplemented and/or substituted by Aviva from time to time, a copy of which can be found at www.aviva.com.sg/pdpa.

8.       Aviva reserves the right to withdraw any Qualifying Customers from the Campaign who may be disqualified for any reason whatsoever without notice.

9.       Participation in the Campaign is subject to these terms and conditions and the availability of the Treats. Notwithstanding anything in these terms and conditions, Aviva may, at its discretion, terminate the Campaign and/or vary any of these terms and conditions at any time and from time to time without notice or liability.

10.   By participating in the Campaign, the Qualifying Customer accepts that Aviva’s decision on all matters relating to the Campaign is final and binding. If there is any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any customer communication, marketing or promotional material relating to the Campaign, these terms and conditions will prevail.

11.   Any person who does not participate in the Campaign shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap.53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions.

12.   The terms of this Campaign will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore and each Member agrees to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.

13.   The Campaign is not valid with other offers, bundles or promotions unless stated otherwise.
